Michael Robinson, fullback of the Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks, joined The Steve Sandmeyer Show Wednesday and among the topics that surfaced was the veteran’s upcoming appearance on the Soap Opera ‘The Young and The Restless,’ and right from the get-go, Robinson said “I looove Young and the Restless … don’t judge me, OK?”
The former college quarterback also talked about when he realized the Seahawks had something special — Doug Baldwin told us earlier this month that he and some of his teammates felt they were on their way to greatness after the loss to the Atlanta Falcons in the divisional playoff in January 2013. Robinson, however, saw it sooner than that.
“I figured that we were a championship type of team in the Chicago game from 2012,” Robinson said of the Seahawks’ overtime win at the Bears December 2, 2012. “We had to rally from behind and kind of took control of that game. I felt like that was Russell Wilson’s coming out party.”
Robinson also opines on the fullback position and his future on and off the field.
