Hauschka Talks New Contract, ‘Tough Decisions’ By Front Office

(1090 The Fan) — Fresh off signing a new multi-year contract, Steven Hauschka joined the Steve Sandmeyer Show on Monday to talk about what it means to remain a Seahawk.

But, there was also the elephant in the room: The Seahawks team Hauschka re-signed with won’t have the same look as the Seahawks team that won Super Bowl XLVIII. Along with the 12th Man, Hauschka has watched several key players find new homes this offseason; Golden Tate signed with the Detroit Lions, Red Bryant and Chris Clemons signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Walter Thurmond signed with the New York Giants…etc.

Listen to the 28-year-old kicker talk about the tough decisions the Seahawks front office had to make as well as what he expects next season.
