(CBS Seattle) — A man claims he was carjacked while stopping to watch two women dancing in the street.

The victim called police Tuesday night just after midnight and said he’d been robbed. He said he was driving on S. Juneau St. and Lake Washington Blvd. in his convertible with the top down. A man and two women crossed the street in front of him, and while he was stopped, he told police the women started dancing in front of his car. He said the man who was with them came up and started pistol-whipping him. The victim said he blacked out and when he woke up, he saw the man and the two women driving away in his car.

The victim suffered some cuts and bruises and declined to be taken to the hospital. Police took him home.

Police said the man told them he was driving a 2001 BMW convertible and that all three suspects are Asian. Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to contact the Robbery Unit at (206) 684-5535.
