(1090 The Fan) — Several NFL experts, analysts and scouts strongly believe former Washington Huskies running back Bishop Sankey will be one of the first backs taken in the upcoming NFL Draft — possibly the first.
But for Sankey, being the first back picked won’t mean anything if the team’s offense doesn’t fit his style of play. Reggie Bush ran into this problem his first year in the NFL; The New Orleans Saints’ offensive attack didn’t utilize the strengths Bush showcased as a record-setting running back for USC. Sankey says that being drafted into the right system will get the most out of his talents right off the bat.
