(1090 The Fan) — To start off the 2014 NFL preseason, the Seattle Seahawks will head to Denver to face off with the Denver Broncos — a rematch of Super Bowl XLVIII, only this time on the Broncos’ home turf.

Though it is common for the Seahawks to square off against AFC West teams during the preseason (particularly in years where Seattle won’t face any of them during the regular season), this matchup will carry a lot of weight. The Seahawks demolished the Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII, winning 43-8.

For Weeks 2 and 3, Seattle will host the San Diego Chargers and Chicago Bears respectively. The Seahawks will end the preseason with a trip to Oakland to face the Raiders.

Dates for the games have not been set yet.

Seattle has won its last nine preseason games dating back to the 2011 season.
