Mudslide Victim Released From Hospital; One Victim Remains
SEATTLE (AP) — A Seattle hospital spokeswoman says an 81-year-old man injured in the deadly March 22 mudslide at Oso has been discharged. That leaves just one mudslide victim still at Harborview Medical Center.
Hospital spokeswoman Susan Gregg said the 81-year-old was transferred Monday to another facility for inpatient follow-up care.
Gregg says a 37-year-old man remains in satisfactory condition.
The bodies of 36 victims have been recovered from the slide area. Another seven people remain on a missing list.
