New Cobain Letter Mocking Wedding Vows Revealed

The Seattle Police Department released more previously unknown details Monday about Kurt Cobain’s apparent suicide, including a handwritten letter found in his wallet at the time of his death.

According to CBS News, the letter, which mocks standard Christian wedding vows, was logged into police evidence back in 1994 without being made public. The note was written on paper from San Francisco-area hotel The Phoenix, reads:  “Do you Kurt Cobain take Courtney Michelle Love to be your lawful shredded wife even when she’s a bitch with zits and siphoning all yr [sic] money for doping and whoring.” The handwriting seems to be a match to Cobain’s supposed suicide note, although the sentiments toward Love are very different. The note found with Cobain’s body described Courtney as, ‘goddess… who sweats ambition and empathy,’ according to CBS News.
