(1090 The Fan) — Former Seattle Seahawks linebacker Isaiah Kacyvenski joined the Steve Sandmeyer Show and spoke about the feeling of being a 4th round draft pick as well what kind of guys succeed in the NFL.
“The guys that are talented get picked. But the other aspect of it is mental toughness; the willingness when a play needs to be made. What kind of player can you count on? Regardless of position. Regardless of what they’ve done. They prove it with way they conduct themselves off the field; in interviews. That’s the kind of stuff you can’t see.”
About the current Seahawks management: “I think Seattle is very unique with John [Schneider] and with Coach Carroll. How they run the ship. They do it their way, like Frank Sinatra. It’s impressive.”
Isaiah also explained about a flexible electronics product in development by his company, ‘MC10’ he’s been working on to reduce head injuries/concussion symptoms across sports and activities through behavior.
