(1090 The Fan) — University of Washington product Bishop Sankey is now a member of the Tennessee Titans and joined The Steve Sandmeyer Show to chat about being the first running back taken in the 2014 NFL Draft and his experience at Titans rookie camp.
On pass blocking Sankey said “we didn’t have our pads on, so we weren’t showing our technique. It was just knowing where to be, what protections were called. Where to be and when. That’s really the first step. As far as becoming a good pass blocker, you have to know your keys and reads before the play really starts. Have a sense of what gaps the linebacker is going to be blitzing through.”
Sankey, who will wear No. 20 for the Titans, also talked about the city of Nashville and meeting former UW quarterback Jake Locker.
