BUCKLEY, Wash. (AP) — A Pierce County sheriff’s spokesman says two people are confirmed dead in the crash of a small plane in a wooded area between Buckley and Enumclaw, Washington.
The News Tribune reports that sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said both victims in the Wednesday afternoon crash are believed to be men.
The plane was a World War II-era aircraft, a two-passenger model SNJ-4.
Buckley Police Chief Jim Arsanto said he was one of the people who saw the plane go down and called 911.
