BEAVERTOWN, Ore. (CBS Seattle) – Almost 10,000 Pacific Gas and Electric customers in Washington County were without power thanks to a squirrel.

PGE reports that a squirrel came into contact with some electrical equipment, which caused the outage around 6:30 a.m. The utility company sent crews out and power was restored around 9:30 a.m.

Some minor train delays happened this morning due to traffic signals being out but MAX trains run on their own power source so TriMet did not report any service disruptions this morning.
