(1090 The Fan) — Lucas Luetge is coming back to the Mariners after several weeks with the Tacoma Rainiers.
The team announced it was recalling Luetge, 27, and will be available to pitch in Thursday’s series finale against the Minnesota Twins. The lefty will be making his third stint with Seattle this season; his last time on the mound for the Mariners this season was April 27 in which he pitched 1.1 innings in relief.
In 26 games with the Rainiers, Luetge is 3-1 with two saves, and a 3.40 ERA.
To make room for Luetge, Seattle optioned Stephen Pryor to Tacoma — one day after making his season debut for the Mariners.
