(1090 The Fan) — Ahead of Saturday’s induction into the NFL Hall of Fame, legendary Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle Walter Jones joined the Steve Sandmeyer Show to talk about becoming a football immortal.
“Today I went to my barber and he has congratulations signs up,” Jones said. “It wasn’t expected and that’s something you try to plan for. You think you know what’s going to happen, but you don’t know what’s going to happen. So those little thing are happening. Everyone wants to show their respect.”
He also spoke about trash talking, staying in Seattle for his entire career, and how he feels that former teammates traveling to Canton, Ohio to see him enshrined.
