(1090 The Fan) — The Seattle Seahawks made two additional roster moves Friday, releasing wide receiver Randall Carroll and signing free agent linebacker Marcus Dowtin.
Dowtin, 25, originally signed with the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent, and has spent time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Buffalo Bills and New York Giants. He has 11 career starts, in which he has recorded 10 tackles (8 solo).
Thursday, the Seahawks placed tightend Anthony McCoy on the injured reserve, and signed free agent wide receiver Ronald Johnson.
