(1090 The Fan) — Former Seahawks tackle Michael Bowie has been claimed by the Cleveland Browns after being waived by Seattle Saturday.
Seattle has also released linebacker Brandon Denmark and wide receiver Ronald Johnson, and re-signed defensive tackle Andru Pulu. Additionally, the team claimed tackle Cory Brandon off waivers from the Arizona Cardinals.
Bowie, 22, sustained a significant injury to his left shoulder during a training camp practice. After it was discovered the injury would require surgery, the team presumably moved to place Bowie on the injured reserve.
Pulu, 23, had previously been released by the Seahawks in June.
