NEW YORK (AP) — The Seattle Sounders will be without midfielder Marco Pappa while Major League Soccer investigates his recent arrest for speeding and driving under the influence.

Pappa, arrested early Sunday, will be evaluated by the MLS’ substance abuse doctors as per the league’s policy, and will not be allowed to participate in games until the investigation is completed and he is cleared to play.
