SEATTLE (CBS Seattle) — Santa’s sleigh bells won’t be jingling before Thanksgiving at Nordstrom.
A sign posted on Facebook reveals the department store won’t be celebrating Christmas until Thanksgiving is over.
“We won’t be decking our halls until Friday, November 27,” the Nordstrom sign reads. “Why? Well, we just like the idea of celebrating one holiday at a time.”
The store will also be closed on Thanksgiving, but will reopen for Black Friday.
Nordstrom has 121 full-line stores in the United States and Canada, and also 194 Nordstrom Rack locations.
