SEATTLE (CBS Seattle) – The flasher is back.
A Seattle man convicted of exposing himself to college students is accused of accosting two women at Seattle Central College last month.
Eric K. Ross followed the students to their classroom, say King County prosecutors, then waited outside until their class ended.
According to the arrest report, Ross dropped his pants and began masturbating while exposing himself to the women. The women fled and called security.
“The only way to protect the community from his behavior appears to be incarceration,” Senior Deputy Prosecutor Carla Carlstrom said in court documents, reports the Seattle Post-Intelligence.
Ross was identified after police recognized him from a surveillance video.
“Ross admitted to me that he was still struggling with the urge to expose himself to strangers,” wrote a detective in court documents. “Ross said that he feels remorseful for what he does and how his actions … must make the subjects of his behavior feel.”
If convicted, this would be the seventh time Ross would be found guilty of indecent exposure. He is being held without bond.
