Crane Causes Power Outage For 10K Customers In I-District, First Hill, Beacon Hill

UDPATE: Seattle City Light Tweets power has been restored.

SEATTLE (CBS) — A crane got into power lines in south Seattle Tuesday afternoon, leaving around 10,000 people without power.

Seattle City Light announced the outage — which affects the Beacon Hill, First Hill, and International District neighborhoods — around 12:30 pm. The company Tweeted most customers would see their power restored within the hour (around 1:30-2:00pm PT).
