Police: City Employee Filmed Women At Pool Changing Area

BELLINGHAM, Wash. (AP) — Authorities say a Bellingham city employee has been arrested after admitting to videotaping four female employees in a changing area at an aquatic center.

The Bellingham Herald reports that 54-year-old David Alan Frick of Bellingham was being investigated for possessing child pornography when police discovered he had filmed four women without their knowledge in the Arne Hanna Aquatic Center’s staff changing area.

Bellingham Police Lt. Bob Vander Yacht said the staff changing area is separate from the public changing area at the city-run pool. All four females were all adults.

Police said Frick admitted he had filmed the women. Frick was booked into the Whatcom County Jail Thursday night to face charges of voyeurism and possession of depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct.

It wasn’t immediately clear if Frick had an attorney.
