Current Boston Celtics guard and former Washington Husky Isaiah Thomas is by any measure, good at basketball. He’s coming off his first All-Star season and looks to be a key piece of the Celtics moving forward. His shooting/scoring prowess, particularly from the free throw line (career 86.3%) is unquestioned.
Yet, that didn’t stop Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tyler Lockett from challenging him to a free throw shooting contest when Thomas visited the team’s facility yesterday. The result? Pretty much what you would expect.
Thomas nailed all 12 of the shots he took, made more impressive by the fact that he’s shooting in the team’s meeting room while up against a wall. Judging from Thomas’ tweet, Lockett apparently won the right to challenge Thomas because he was the ‘Hawks free throw champion. There’s no video of how Lockett did, but, you can’t beat perfection.
