(CBS Seattle) – If you can’t find the one pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, you just might be in luck.

Early this morning, The Port of Seattle captured this photo of a double rainbow appearing over Elliot Bay, giving you double the chances in discovering that treasure. A majestic sight, the double-dose of beauty is a result of optical effects occurring in tandem, according to The Weather Channel.

A double rainbow “occurs when refracted light does not escape the raindrop after being reflected the first time.” The refracted light bounces off the primary rainbow’s surface a second time and produces a less vivid, reversed rainbow.
