The Seahawks have been searching for offensive playmakers over the first couple of weeks of the season. The offense broke out last week against the 49ers, but they had a much tougher task on the docket today as they headed to MetLife Stadium to take on the New York Jets.

Despite a hobbled Russell Wilson, who is dealing with a sprained MCL, the Seahawks were able to move the football against the Jets totaling 215 yards in the first half. Along with contributions from the big names like Jimmy Graham and Doug Baldwin, the Seahawks got one of their two touchdowns from a little known receiver making his first career catch.

In case you’ve never heard of McEvoy prior to today, you should now that he was signed as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin where he played quarterback and safety for the Badgers. Now, he’s a wide receiver in the NFL and he made an impact for the Seahawks in the first half.
