SEATTLE (CBS) –– Nearly 100,000 people covering a 10-block radius gathered for a women’s march in Seattle Saturday, according to Seattle Times.

The turnout is nearly double that of early projections.

The protest march and rally began in Seattle’s Judkins Park around 10:00 a.m. The event, organized by Womxn’s March On Seattle, is one of many marches taking place across the country following the inauguration of President Donald Trump Friday.
