Latest Seattle Labor Day
It’s a day set aside to celebrate the American worker, and Washington State has plenty of picnics, carnivals and parades to help you celebrate a job well done.
Staying in town this weekend? If you’re not heading to Seattle for Bumbershoot, there are still lots of choices. Whether it’s going on a run, sipping a beer, watching vintage aircraft or taking your kids to the circus, there’s something happening for the whole family.
Since 1971, Bumbershoot has drawn artists representing the best in music, film, comedy, spoken word, dance, theatre, performance, and visual arts to Seattle Center every Labor Day weekend… and it’s here again, September 3, 4 and 5!
Time to fuel up the car and hit the road for one last long weekend before summer’s end. Fortunately, there’s lots of great festivals happening in Washington, so you won’t have to travel far to celebrate maritime heritage, Northwest blackberries, or arts and crafts.
Labor Day comes at a unique time of year. Caught between two seasons, we’re left picking sides: do we try to Hold On To Summer or Embrace Fall?
