Trailing by three midway through the second half, Stanford utilized a 10-0 run triggered by a Dwight Powell 3-pointer to take a 57-50 lead with 6:37 to play, and ultimately, control of the game.
DaVonte Lacy had 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Cougars’ offense in defeat. The Cougars wrap up the regular season, Saturday with a home game against UCLA.
Nigel Williams-Goss scored 17 points and Andrew Andrews added 16 points to carry the Huskies to just their third win in the past eight games.

Despite the double-digit loss, the Cougars had a good beginning. The team held 8-3, 17-10 and eventually 31-24 leads, the latter being the score at halftime. But, as has been the case for the Cougars all season, their lead was not foolproof.
D.J. Shelton, who scored 1o points Thursday, was the only other double-figure scorer for the Cougars who now continue their road trip with games at Oregon and Washington next week before closing the season out at home.
Que Johnson scored 14 points and DaVonte Lacy finished with 13 points to lead Washington State (9-16, 2-11) which again fell behind early and couldn’t recover.
Lacy was everything for the Cougars, Wednesday. The junior guard finished 10-for-20 from the field including 8-for-15 from 3-point range with 26 points in the second half alone.
DaVonte Lacy scored 20 points and D.J. Shelton finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Cougars in the losing effort. No other player had more than seven points for the Cougars.
Washington State did make a run in the second half. The team exploded for 43 points behind a 20-6 run that enabled the Cougars to close a 54-35 deficit at the 6:46 mark to a 60-55 game with 56 seconds left.
