Guide to Tacoma Holiday Food and Gift Show

Come to the largest holiday gift show over 5 BIG DAYS! October 19th – 23rd, the Tacoma Dome will be transformed into a wonderland of cooking and artist demonstrations, shopping, eating, and yes! Even Santa. Over 1,800 booths, a main stage and food court. Get a jump on your holiday shopping! It’s the 29th Annual Tacoma Holiday Food and Gift Show. Here’s what you can expect:

Live Entertainment:
The main Tacoma Dome arena stage hosts a variety of local choirs, dance troupes, and instrumentalists. There are many “new acts”! Check out the website for a complete listing.

Santa Visits:
With only two months until Christmas, kids of all ages are ready for a sneak peek of the man in red. The good news is he’ll be visiting each day of the festival, so your little ones can tell him just what they want in their stockings:
Oct. 19th, Wed. 11:00am – 4:00pm
Oct. 20th, Thurs. 11:00am – 4:00pm
Oct. 21st, Fri. 11:00am -6:00pm
Oct. 22nd, Sat. 11:00am – 6:00pm
Oct. 23rd, Sun. 11:00am – 4:00pm

Cooking Demonstrations:</strong
All new! Cooking for the holidays! Cooking and hands on demonstrations by local chefs and instructors, including Salty's Seafood Grills, Stanley and Seafort's, Hello Cupcake, and Le Cordon Bleu and much more.

Artists at Work:
The “Artist’s Village” has been expanded to include more artistans. Over 35 hands-on artist demonstrations. Featured are pottery, painters, wood carvers, jewelry, glass and more. Look for the “Artist’s Village” under the tree in the main Tacoma Dome arena and in booths 1467 – 1474.

Gourmet Food Sampling:
Try a bit of everything from chocolate, cookies, candy, nuts, jams & jellies to tasty soups, dips, seasonings, coffees and teas. Foods to make your holiday baking a little sweeter, or to give as gifts.

Getting There:
You’ll find plenty of onsite city and offsite parking. There’s easy access to the Sound Transit; just connect at the Tacoma Dome Station.
