Bring out your friends and family! Enjoy music, food, and a sense of community while helping the environment and planting trees! No experience is required!

The Mountains to Sound Greenway is looking for volunteers to help kick-off this fall’s tree planting season in the Greenway by planting trees at Lake Sammamish State Park (2000 Northwest Sammamish Road) on Saturday, October 15th between 9:00am and 3:00pm. This event will be the start of a plan to plant over 20,000 native trees and shrubs in several natural areas in the Greenway.

Greenway tree planting season sponsors, Carter Subaru, will also be recognized during the event. A long-time supporter of the Greenway, Carter Subaru plants one tree in the Greenway for every test drive and plants four more when a vehicle is purchased.

You must register if you’d like to help with the tree planting. Go online to http://www.mtsgreenway.org/volunteer or call 206.812.0122.
