Bill Swartz
One of the Pacific Northwest’s most versatile talents, Bill Swartz joins Seattle’s newest sports station 1090 The Fan as a co-host and sports update anchor.
Swartz is an award winning radio sports and news reporter, who’s also entertained and hosted hundreds of charity, sports, and business events all over the country.
Sports with Swartz has covered all the major sports events from Final 4′s, to the Superbowl, MLB playoffs, PGA Championship,and NBA Finals. He was the sideline announcer for the Washington Husky football team during the 1990′s glory years, and used his voice impersonations during the highly popular Husky Tailgate parties. His biggest thrill was play-by-play for the World Champion Kirkland Little League baseball team.
You can catch Bill in ESPN and Pac12 television documentaries about the Kirkland and Husky teams. He has also been the guy who does pre-game interviews with Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, and Sounders coach Sigi Schmid.
Living in Washington State for the majority of his life, Bill has enjoyed entertaining and informing audiences in person, via the internet, or radio/television.
Swartz has a grown daughter and son. He and his biggest fan, wife Connie, enjoy golf, games, and wine country.
