160 people paid up to $1,699 for a seat and access to spots normally off limits: Boeing’s sprawling 737 factory, American Airline’s mission control-like operations center and the cockpit of the world’s largest passenger jet.
The Port of Seattle is reporting one runway open for air travel this morning after SeaTac Airport had shut down earlier today due to ice. Meantime, Alaska Airlines has announced their operations have been hindered by the weather, with only four flights dispatched by 12:00pm today.
Alaska Airlines says it’s canceling 38 flights due to weather out of Seattle and Portland today. They’re also relaxing the change fees and allowing flights to be rescheduled.
