Seattle Public Theater is proud to present Superior Donuts! A play about the mean streets of Chicago, and a man named Arthur, a world-weary draft evader and disillusioned donut shop proprietor. Arthur hires Franco, a streetwise would-be novelist. Their unlikely bond of one-part snark and three-parts hope is put to a violent test when Franco’s past catches up to him.
In conjunction with the Seattle Opera, the Seattle Public Theater Youth Program is proud to present six FREE performances of Stephen Sondheim’s grizzly, modern musical classic Sweeney Todd.
With a welcoming nod to the Year of the Dragon, here are some authentic Asian tea houses in the Seattle area where you can sip, and regain a little zen in your life. Enjoy a traditional tea ceremony, tour the only remaining Sento in the US, or watch a beautiful tea flower open in your cup.
There’s so much to do this weekend… hot rod cars, art shows, festivals, parades and a triathlon… just to name a few! You’ll want to jump into the weekend with both feet!
