Boeing put its 787-9 Dreamliner through a stunning near-vertical takeoff in preparation for the upcoming Paris Air Show.
Boeing Co. won major orders from five customers for a stretched-out version of its popular 787 Dreamliner jet at the Paris Air Show Tuesday, further evidence of a strengthening market for more expensive long-haul jets.
Japan’s All Nippon Airways will resume nonstop service between Sea-Tac Airport and Tokyo Narita on June 1, according to the Port of Seattle. Those first flights will use the Boeing 777, then in September, ANA will switch to Boeing 787s.
