The Seattle Mariners could pull off something they haven’t done since June 11, 2006: sweep the Angels in Anaheim.
Brad Miller hit two homers, Erasmo Ramirez pitched seven innings of six-hit ball, and the Mariners beat Los Angeles 8-3 Tuesday night for their second win of the season.
Erasmo Ramirez just saw what his offense is capable of after viewing a ten-run win against a good Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim pitching staff. Ramirez also has a lifetime 2.41 ERA in three starts over the American League West rival.
Mike Trout scored on Saunders’ first wild pitch of the season, leading the Angels to a 1-0 victory over the Mariners on Wednesday night.
