September is not slowing down! There are fairs, festivals, fiestas, films and fun all weekend long in the Puget Sound!
Ever take a tour of a working farm? Watch a hot air balloon launch? Ride on a tall ship? If you want to head out of town this weekend, these are just some of the fun things you can do!
Whether you’d like to stay in town or get away, there are lots of fun activities for the whole family this weekend.
There’s so much to do this weekend… hot rod cars, art shows, festivals, parades and a triathlon… just to name a few! You’ll want to jump into the weekend with both feet!
Seward Park turns 100 years old and the community is celebrating with a festival! Put on your best outfit for being out and about – anything from 1911 to 2011 – and be part of the community promenade around the park! Or join in the festival, eat food, enjoy live music and see vintage Seafair hydroplane boats!
The Lakefair Festival’s 2011 theme is Candyland! Held in downtown Olympia on the banks of Capitol Lake, the 5-day celebration has carnival rides, food vendors, arts and crafts, a fun run, fireworks and more!
Knights on horseback, sword fight action, roving entertainers, magic shows, Shakespeare and more will be at Mercer Island’s “Renaissance Revelry” this weekend!
If you’re ready to get out of the city, but don’t want to leave Washington, there are several events to choose from.
