The Seahawks open the regular season on the road for the tenth time in the last 14 seasons as they travel to Carolina this weekend for the first of five 10 a.m. kickoffs in 2013.
After a great 2012-13 season, the Seahawks look to show the NFL that last season was no fluke. They may have already begun to prove it during the preseason, where they were just one of two teams to go 4-0 (the other was the Washington Redskins). With the regular season kicking off this Sunday, the ‘Hawks look to make it five straight games as they take on Charlotte.
While the Seattle Seahawks can’t take their preseason record into the regular season, it’s comforting to know that a perfect 4-0 preseason including scoring 110 points (the second most in the league) and allowing just 36 (the least) for a league-leading 74 net points meant that all aspects of the ‘Hawks, not just the first team, were playing well throughout every game.
