A storm moving through the Northwest has raised the chance of rivers flooding in Western Washington and avalanche danger in the Cascades.
The National Weather Service says a winter storm will move quickly through Washington Friday and Saturday with high surf on the coast, rain in Western Washington, snow in the Cascades and the northeast corner of the state.
