Veteran WA Trooper Killed in Traffic Stop; Shooter at Large

A Washington state trooper making a routine traffic stop was shot and killed early Thursday, and dozens of officers are canvassing the area looking for the shooter. According to the News Tribune, Eastbound State Route 16 is closed at Milepost 28 as investigators are looking into the shooting.
