McCrory and Boudia Cruise to Olympic Diving Berths

It was no contest for Nick McCrory and David Boudia. The duo carried a 114.84-point lead into the 10-meter platform synchronized diving final and won it easily, earning spots on the Olympic team at the U.S. trials on Thursday night at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.

Appeals Court Rules Cop-Killer’s Sister Wrongly Convicted

A state appeals court ruled Friday that the sister of cop-killer Maurice Clemmons was wrongly convicted of rendering criminal assistance, a decision that Pierce County Prosecutor Mark Lindquist said he’ll appeal.

WA Alcoa Plant Celebrates 60 Years

The Pacific Northwest aluminum industry supplied roughly 40 percent of the nation’s aluminum in its heyday in the 1980s, with 10 plants producing the pliable, lightweight metal for everything from war planes to soda cans. Cocaine found in OR Routine Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest
