Kansas State (8-3) built a 5-point first-half lead, then withstood a 16-7 Bulldog run over a 5-minute span in the second half that lifted Gonzaga to a 1-point lead at 48-47 with 10:51 remaining. Gonzaga’s Drew Barham scored seven of his team-high 13 points to key the run.

No. 11 Gonzaga Rolls 113-81 Over Chaminade In Maui

No. 11 Gonzaga relieved the frustrations of its first loss with its highest scoring game of the year. Sam Dower Jr. and Gerard Coleman scored 19 points each as the Bulldogs cruised to an easy 113-81 win over Division II Chaminade on Tuesday in the Maui Invitational.

No. 11 Gonzaga Falls To Dayton 84-79

Too many fouls and not enough rebounds led to Gonzaga’s first loss of the season in a nationally televised upset by unranked Dayton. Kevin Pangos fouled out in the final minute after scoring 27 points and nearly saving the 11th-ranked Bulldogs from an 84-79 defeat Monday night in the first round of the Maui Invitational.
