The Seattle Seahawks felt they would be set at tight end after selecting Luke Willson in the fifth round of April’s draft. Golden Tate and Stephen Williams both made sensational pass catches to highlight the first day of Seahawks training camp in front of a large and loud crowd at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center in Renton. Williams played 11 games for the Arizona Cardinals the past 2 seasons.
Fourth-round receiver Chris Harper and fifth-round tight end Luke Willson each caught the ball well during the Seahawks’ rookie minicamp and head coach Pete Carroll is already envisioning roles for the pair for the start of training camp in July.
