The hype surrounding the Seattle Seahawks would lead most people to believe the 2013 class of rookies won’t necessarily make an immediate impact for the upcoming season. But, in this injury-heavy league, we also know that depth is one of the most important elements a team can have.
Fourth-round receiver Chris Harper and fifth-round tight end Luke Willson each caught the ball well during the Seahawks’ rookie minicamp and head coach Pete Carroll is already envisioning roles for the pair for the start of training camp in July.
Brian Banks, 26, has impressed Seattle coach Pete Carroll enough that he got an invitation to participate in a formal tryout next week during Seattle’s mandatory offseason minicamp.
