Hawks Waive McCoy, Sign Rookie Bscherer

The Seahawks waived tight end Anthony McCoy Tuesday, just days after it was announced his torn Achilles injury would likely sideline him for the entire 2013 campaign. The two-year veteran has already undergone surgery to repair the injury — the recovery time is at least six months.
