Opa! A tradition since 1960, the St. Demetrios Greek Festival returns this year, September 21, 22 and 23 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church in Seattle’s Montlake neighborhood.
520 Bridge to Close This Weekend
Expect delays in traffic as the 520 floating bridge is closed this weekend, July 9 – 10 for maintenance work.
Ahoy! Opening Day of Boating is Saturday, May 7
The first day of boating will officially begin at noon on Saturday, May 7. The Montlake Bridge will rise, the noontime cannon will fire and the Opening Day Parade will begin at Portage Bay. This is the largest regional boating event in the nation, and even if you’re not on a boat, you can enjoy it.
