It may not be the Beast Quake, but Marshawn Lynch had another great game against New Orleans in the Playoffs as Seattle was able to outlast the Saints 23-15 and advance to the NFC Conference Finals next weekend.
The New Orleans Saints played a much better game on defense as they faced off with the Seattle Seahawks this time, but there were plenty of other problems. It was a hard-fought effort and a really good season, but the road woes have got to stop.
Marshawn Lynch ran for 140 yards and two touchdowns, Steven Hauschka kicked three field goals in blustery conditions and Seattle’s defense flustered Drew Brees and New Orleans in a 23-15 victory Saturday in the NFC divisional playoff game.
At home, Seattle has a unique and decided edge that has led them to victories in 15 of their last 16 games, and five in a row in the postseason.
