T-Birds Squander Scoring Chances, Fall To Prince George

In their last three losses, Seattle (4-5-0-1) has surrendered 117 shots on goal, a byproduct of its issues on defense. With Ethan Bear hurt, Evan Wardley suspended and Shea Theodore still with the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks, the T-Birds are currently relying on younger players.

The Seattle Thunderbirds finished a 5-game road swing through Western Canada with a 2-3 record thanks to consecutive wins over Prince George this week.

After being outscored 22-3, the T-Birds went into Prince George and came away with consecutive wins Tuesday and Wednesday to end a 5-game losing streak and at least salvage part of the trip.

Theodore’s Two Goals, Three Assists Get Birds Past Cougars

Shea Theodore had two goals and an assist and Alexander Delnov had three assists Tuesday night to lead the Seattle Thunderbirds to a 6-1 victory over the Prince George Cougars.
