Third-Period Rally Sends Seattle Past League-Best Kelowna

Mathew Barzal had a goal and an assist to lead Seattle (28-20-3-3) which trailed 1-0 midway through the third period. Goaltender Taran Kozun saved 32 of 33 shots against the second-best offense in the Western Hockey League, a team that entered with 236 goals.

Rockets Burn T-Birds In Third Period To Remain Undefeated

Seattle was looking for a weekend sweep over Western Hockey League powers Portland and Kelowna (6-0) in front of 4,358 at the ShoWare Center. Instead, the T-Birds squandered an early two goal lead in succumbing to their nemesis.
