Seattle (31-15-2-3) out-hustled and out-worked a Rockets team that has dominated their foes all season, winning 4-1 at the ShoWare Center. Roberts Lipsbergs had a goal and an assist and Shea Theodore provided another power-play goal to propel the Thunderbirds.
One night after struggling on its power play, Seattle (30-15-2-3) rebounded in a big way, Saturday with all four of its goals coming with the man advantage. Shea Theodore was a major part of that all night. The defenseman finished with a goal and three assists for the T-Birds.
After Seattle’s 3-2 shootout victory against Moose Jaw, Tuesday, Kozun is now 4-0 with two shutouts. Kozun, 19, went 3-0 with a 0.65 goals-against-average and a .977 save percentage last week in earning himself the Vaughn CHL Goaltender of the Week award.
