When you win the Super Bowl, there isn’t much to complain about as far as overall team performance is concerned. But here is a look back at what the Seahawks excelled at and aspects of their game that they will need to tighten up next season.
Currently at 10-1 and the only team in the league with double-digit wins, there isn’t much to critique about the 2013 Seahawks. But who are the best players on the team so far?
If you needed yet another example of why these games are played on the field rather than on paper, this is a perfect example. On paper this game should have been a walk in the park for Seattle. However they needed a 17-point rally just to force overtime for a chance to win.
An overtime field goal erased a first half filled with mistakes, as Seattle added another “W” to the win column with a 27-24 victory Sunday.
While the Seahawks as a team looked good in the first half of the game, it was their special teams, specifically their inability to score touchdowns in the second half, that ended Seattle’s bid for a 5-0 start to the season as the Colts were able to win 34-28.
