Survivor is coming back to CBS this week for its 26th season and its bringing back a few familiar faces.
The only survivor of last week’s Seattle cafe shooting that left four people dead has been moved out of intensive care at Harborview Medical Center.
Powder Magazine senior editor John Stifter, who witnessed the slide that killed three of his skiing companions Sunday, said one person survived by bear-hugging a tree and holding on as the snow barreled over him. “It’s an absolute horror story,” Stifter said Monday.
Well-equipped and familiar with the terrain, about a dozen expert skiers were making their way through a foot-and-a half of fresh snow when an avalanche hit them in an out-of-bounds area near Stevens Pass ski resort.
