The World Health Organization established World AIDS Day in 1988. December 1, around the globe, there are events and observances to remember those who have lost their fight to AIDS, and to raise awareness that AIDS still exists, and needs to end. You can wear a red ribbon on December 1, and you can attend one of these Puget Sound area events.
