The Washington state Transportation Commission on Wednesday night adopted Interstate 405 toll rates for express toll lanes that will open later this year between Bellevue and Lynnwood.
The state Transportation Commission has approved a 2.5 percent increase in the tolls on the Highway 520 floating bridge. The new rates approved Wednesday will take effect on July 1.
The peak toll on the Highway 520 floating bridge that began at $3.50 at the end of last year will rise to $4.35 in 2016 after a series of scheduled increases.
Drivers who crossed the Highway 520 toll bridge at Seattle and who don’t have the automatic Good To Go accounts will receive bills in the mail next week.
Tolling on the 520 Bridge begins at 5:00am on Thursday, December 29.
